Usually, the dumping margin is the amount by which the normal value exceeds the export price.110 However, where, dumping margins vary in each transaction the Commission may establish the dumping margin of each transaction, or by reference to the most frequently recurring transaction or on a weighted average price basis.111 The calculation of the dumping margin is to permit the application of an anti-dumping duty to remove the damage to EC industry caused by goods being dumped.
