ABSTRACT

Many university subjects now combine traditional company law with the law of associations and partnership law. However, the majority of textbooks only cover the core areas of company law. Afterman and Baxt has always covered these key areas of associations, with the majority of the book (pp 149-937) being on company law. As a teacher of corporate law, I was glad to see that favourite case, Salomon v Salomon and Co Ltd, extracted at p 151 (as the third page of the company law section).
