ABSTRACT
Any patient presenting with a clinically malignant neck mass must have a full assessment by the otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon. In this context a clinically malignant neck mass is one which is enlarging or persisting, and which is either hard or firm and rubbery in consistency.
