ABSTRACT
The peak incidence is at 20-25 years of age, and testicular tumours are the commonest solid tumours in this age group. Cryptorchidism is seen in 10% of cases, other aetiological factors being hormonal factors (dienoestrol exposure in utero), testicular atrophy and mumps orchitis.
