ABSTRACT
There are a number of schemes in existence under which the arbitral procedure can be conducted and these include schemes for consumers run under the auspices of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Similar schemes are run by various organisations within the building industry and then there are a number of sets of rules such as UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, a very comprehensive set of rules designed for use in both the domestic and international field.
