ABSTRACT

Domain names are generally defined as the human-friendly form of internet addresses. A domain name corresponds to a series of numbers comparable to a telephone number. Each internet address is unique and corresponds to one specific place on the Net. The advantage of using a name rather than a series of numbers is that it is easier for people to remember a word than to recall a string of numbers.
