ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at the importance of employment in the successful reintegration of women offenders into the community. It discusses findings from the Correctional Service Employment Pilot Program (CSEPP), funded by Corrections Victoria, and considers the strengths and limitations of the programme. It describes also the contribution made by the ‘Employment Expo’, a forum that introduced employer agencies to women in prison.
