ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to explore the dynamics of handling stolen goods by looking at the ways markets operate. Looking at who does what with/to whom, where, when, why, how and with what effect enables us more finely to tune policing initiatives and crime reduction policy-making to fit better the social systems or interpersonal interactions that cause and shape crime problems.
