ABSTRACT

Since 1960, we have been successfully applying microwave energies

for cooking food, drying wood, heating rubber, manufacturing

medicines and textiles, sintering ceramics, etc.

Asmetals reflectmicrowaves on the surface, it was a surprise that

in 1999, Roy et al. demonstrated the microwave sintering of powder

[1]. In 2002, following the demonstrations, they wrote a scientific

paper entitled “Definitive Experimental Evidence for Microwave

Effects: Radically New Effects of Separated E and H Fields, such as

Decrystallization of Oxides” [2].
