ABSTRACT
Four sections present a thorough overview of current issues in the politics of conflict in historical perspective. Essay chapters written by a variety of academic and other experts on topics including conflicts in Latin America, Africa, the Caucasus and Central Asia, South Asia and South-East Asia, the Arab-Israeli Conflict and Yugoslavia provide background analysis and information on some of the key aspects of conflicts in the world.
