ABSTRACT

Raddall, Thomas H. (1903–) Full name Thomas Head Raddall, he was born in Hythe, England, and went to Halifax, Canada in 1913. After a period sailing, he settled as a bookkeeper in Nova Scotia, developing an interest in Native-Canadian culture and local history. His early works Saga of the Rover (1931) and The Mark-land Sagas (1934) were adventure tales, and he wrote many short stories for Blackwood's Magazine, collected in The Fied Fiper of Dipper Creek (1939).
