ABSTRACT
Electrical insulation Type A specimens were subjected to an increasing voltage stress [1]. The failure times in minutes for 12 specimens are listed in Table 16.1. It was suggested that the failure times might be described by a two-parameter exponential model, that is, an exponential model with a threshold parameter [1], or equivalently by a three-parameter Weibull model with β = 1.00.
