The data in Table 29.1 represent the millions of cycles to failure for 23 ball bearings listed in a specimen sheet from Vendor B [1]. Over a 40-year period, these data have been analyzed to determine the statistical goodness-of-fit (GoF) for several life models, particularly the Weibull and lognormal [2–11].
