ABSTRACT
The throttle-related failures in kilometers (km) driven for proto-type models of general-purpose load-carrying vehicles are given in Table 50.1. Of the values shown, 25 were failures and 25 were censored (underlined), the latter representing service distances at which no failures were observed [1–3]. Note that the columns labeled Failure and Service in Reference 3 were switched from those in Reference 2, which are taken to be correct.
