Failure stresses (GPa) for 57 single carbon fibers of length L = 1 mm [1–4] are given in Table 56.1. An analysis was done with the two-parameter Weibull model [1]. Failure stresses for single carbon fibers with L = 10, 50, and 20 mm will be analyzed in Chapters 59 through 61. A summary of the results for all four sets of data will be given in Chapter 61.
