ABSTRACT
During a visit to a local art gallery, some 13-year-old pupils expressed their dislike of the non-representational paintings, while others appreciated them. The teacher brought a postcard of one particularly disputed painting into school, and enlarged on a ‘visualiser’ so all the class could see and discuss it.
