ABSTRACT
Newmechanisms and structures must be created in the QoP-MLmodel to remove
the limitations discussed above. These mechanisms were first discussed in [77]. In
this chapter three new mechanisms: topology, routing, and packet filtering are pre-
sented. The methodology providing the time analysis of communication steps in the
network is introduced. The time of delivering a message from the sender to the re-
ceiver depends on the chosen path in the network. Based on the model, characteristics
of the channel can be determined and the transmission time can be calculated.
