In recent years, most scholars have studied the motor mainly focus on the analysis of the starting process of the motor, especially the research on the influence of stator asymmetric air gap structure for this type of motor starting and running. Such as literature, which presented the effect of the different air

gap structure of starting performance of the motor and verified with the experiments. The literature deeply analyzed of the influence of air gap structure on cogging torque and rotor initial position angle, then selected the optimal air gap parameters to shorten the starting time, and optimized the starting performance. This paper analyses the influence on the motor starting and operation from the view of the changing motor rotor structure, which is significative for further improvement and optimization of this motor.
