ABSTRACT
This chapter is a basic science chapter with information from anatomy texts and scientific papers concerning head and neck anatomy, identified through Medline searches. The anatomical evidence is supported by cadaver dissection studies, as well as the medical literature. 1 The clinical evidence is observational.
