ABSTRACT
Patients with ankle injury move slowly in the rehabilitation process. The sick foot bears part weight. And so the three stress points of the foot bear stress at the same time. The series branch can be regarded as an open kinematic chain which is composed of a series of links if the bottom of the foot is regarded as a moving platform. The two adjacent links are linked by revolute pairs. The force and torque, which the moving platform bears can be calculated if the stresses of the moving platform’s three stress points can be measured. The ankle angle can be measured by angle sensors. The stress of the moving platform can be measured by force sensors.
