ABSTRACT
In §2.2 we summarized some representative observational properties associated with sunspots [2.7, 2.8]. In this section, we shall consider how those properties may be interpreted with the aid of the findings by the mean-field dynamo model given in chapter 9, specifically, the model based on the dominant/cross-helicity concept [10.1, 10.2].
