ABSTRACT

This chapter proposes a description of approach aimed to design domain models in smart health informatics systems. Proposed approach grounded on improved method of domain analysis that provides an ability to design models considering their cognitive characteristics. Paper contains quick review of domain analysis approaches outlined in this paper.

In order to consider cognitive characteristics of models the mechanisms of their comprehension is described. Then, investigation of activities matching domain analysis and cognitive areas is represented. Analysis of activities becomes a basic for forming estimation of software model cognitive value. Factors that are important to consider software models’ characteristics for smart health information systems designing, are analysed. The process of composing analytical representation for estimation of software model cognitive values is outlined.

The illustration of domain model designing process for problem domain ”deep learning to recognize brain diseases” is outlined. Process of domain model designing, containing steps of its structure characteristics improvement with the aim to raise its cognitive values, is represented.
