ABSTRACT

Filtering an event through our personal archive is what allows us to come closer to understanding its difficulty, no matter how problematic that reduction might be. The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe's (OSCE) Kosovo Verification Mission (KVM) archival storehouse tells us much about the filtering that takes place in an archive that concerns complicated things. The OSCE Kosovo Verification Mission (OSCE KVM) archival storehouse tells us much about the filtering that takes place in an archive that concerns complicated things. The Human Rights Division of the OSCE KVM was responsible for gathering the documentation. The documentation collected covers only the time frame during which the OSCE KVM was deployed and the regions in which they were deployed. The glut of documentation stored in Jiviny is of importance, but it does not relate to the mandate of the OSCE KVM.
