Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. Globally, artificial intelligence has gained an enormous amount of attention in terms of increased efficiency, automation, accuracy, autonomous working, security, and many more. However, it leads to some unanswered questions and much more: is this technology ethical to use? Is it inspired by a single or multiple fields? In this paper, the author will provide an overview of these questions and discuss the revolution, applications, definitions, and foundations of artificial intelligence.
