ABSTRACT

Abstract Creep of FRP reinforcement can further aggravate the already larger deformation of FRP-reinforced concrete structures caused by FRP's low modulus of elasticity. Creep tests have been carried out on two types of a proprietary FRP under several levels of tensile stress sustained for a period of 10 000 hours. One series of tests was conducted at 50°C to determine i f elevated temperature affects creep behaviour.
