Bond strength of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) cement grouted anchor bolds

Abstract This paper describes the laboratory and field pull-out tests on five types of cement grouted glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) anchor bolts installed in concrete blocks and rock mass. Total 68 GFRP and 26 steel anchors with three bond lengths were tested. The bond strength, bond stress - slip behaviour, critical bond length of cement grouted GFRP anchors are examined in comparison with conventional steel anchors.
