ABSTRACT
The regional and community organizations constructed their government and administrative buildings throughout the city. So far they have had less impact on Brussels’s urban form than the nineteenth-and early twentieth-century national capital designs or the post World War II transformation of Brussels as one – although the most important – of three offi cial European headquarters of the European Union (EU) (the others being Strasbourg and Luxembourg).9
