ABSTRACT
Vision setting is often misunderstood and sometimes seen as a ‘motherhood statement’ or simply a waste of time. However, having a clear long-term Vision is essential in developing any effective plan. There are a number of important reasons for this:
• A Vision provides an understanding of direction: When planning for effective change, and particularly rapid change, everyone needs to be a contributor and to be part of the change. And not only to be part of it but to be enthused and passionate about it. To believe in what is happening. This is what truly drives transformational change.
