ABSTRACT

Business games are a new active instrument of education, which simulate practical activities. This is true especially of computer business games. They are becoming popular in Lithuania and are used by educational institutions of different levels: vocational and secondary schools, colleges and universities. As noted by Saunders and Powell (1998), it is time to ask: 'Are simulations and games the best way to go about training or educating a group of learners, or are there other ways that use available resources more effectively?' Based on our experience with the BG application Hard Nut, we believe that this question could have different answers.
