ABSTRACT
In daily and scientific life, instruments or equipment such as eyeglasses, cameras, video cameras, telescopes, interferometric microscopes, etc., are used to form images of the world that surrounds us. These instruments use polished lenses and glasses. The quality of the images generated depends on the quantity and the quality of the polishing of such lenses and glasses. This is the reason why polishing of optical surfaces is important.
