ABSTRACT

C.1 A pair of conductors carry equal and opposite charges of magnitude 1.5 mC. The potential difference between the conductors is measured to be 1500 V. Compute the capacitance.

C.2 Two lumps of conductor are placed near each other. A charge of +1.5µC is present on the first lump and −1.5µC is on the second. Careful measurement reveals that the potential difference between the two lumps is 0.3 V.
