ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a full description of the UK’s carbon emissions reduction framework, which makes the current energy-efficient retrofits necessary. The UK has signed that it will decrease its carbon emissions significantly by 2050 and retrofitting old high-rise towers will make an important contribution to improving the situation.
