ABSTRACT

This chapter aims to synthesize the key points raised in the earlier chapters and to provide researchers and applied practitioners with some tangible suggestions for both academic and clinical settings. More specifically, the chapter discusses the cases in relation to existing theoretical and empirical evidence, and provides suggestions for future research in this area. It is the hope of this chapter to inspire students, researchers, and applied practitioners alike to adopt an interprofessional team approach to sport and performance injury rehabilitation.
