ABSTRACT

The term Change Manager, is used as an umbrella term to encompass all professionals who have been assigned to the change management function. Change management is a structured approach to transitioning organizations, individuals and teams from a state to a desired future state. In Human Resources, change management has to do with people issues and how they will react to the change. However, in some companies, the topic of change management is handled through the Human Resources Department. Change management professionals who have a background or education in basic project management have a clear advantage. Introducing Lean Six Sigma into an organization is a major change that will have a profound effect on a broad group of stakeholders. It makes sense that quality initiatives and continuous improvement programs should be adopted and applied by the change management group.
