ABSTRACT

This final chapter was planned as an opportunity to pull together in summary fashion the research presented in this volume and to offer pedagogical implications. Professor Henderson would have taken the lead in this chapter; his students were frankly always in awe not only of his sense-making but of the intuitive leaps that inevitably accompanied such syntheses. At least some of those insights were indeed captured during the editors’ last visit with Ed. They were struck, as always, by the lucidity and the insight, which still flowed as naturally then as they had over the years from Ed’s ubiquitous yellow legal pads–thoughts that in first draft usually stood as final draft as well.
