In order to have its success measured, a project must be brought to a close when the Project Manager believes that it has met the objectives set out in the Project Initiation Document.
WHAT DOES THE PROCESS DO? * Gets agreement from the customer that the acceptance cri-
teria have been met
* Confirms acceptance of the project’s products from the customer and those who will support the product during its operational life
* Checks that all Project Issues are closed
* Arranges archiving for the project files.
