ABSTRACT

The organisation for which I work (Power Brewing Company Limited) is a relatively new company in the marketplace, recruiting its first employees in March 1987 and launching its first product in September 1988. In the short time the company has been operating, it has achieved widespread market success (23 per cent of the market share in the state of Queensland, 4 per cent of the Australian beer market) and a respected reputation with regard to training, development and work practices.
