ABSTRACT
Because dementia, and more specifically Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), represents such a problem in our society from both the psychological and the socioeconomic aspects, it seems essential that multidisciplinary and synergetic management be put into place. This should include not only psychological interventions and medication but also social and legal help, support to caregivers (dementia also affects the family), as well as home services.
