ABSTRACT

The EU Cohesion policy (ECP) is a policy that aims at promoting an harmonious development across the EU Member States and regions by co-funding investment projects in the field of physical infrastructure, human resources, research and development, and productive investments. The ECP interventions are made within a three level programming framework based on: national development plans called national strategic reference frameworks (NSRFs); investment programmes called operational programmes mainly defined for regions or specific sectors of investment; specific investment projects.
