ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts discussed in the subsequent chapters of the book. The book is based on international treaties which formulate the fundamental principles of functioning of the WTO. Economic integration is presently an essential element of the trade and economic policy of any state. International investments and industrial linkages contribute to the increasing interest in bilateral and plurilateral regional and cross-regional preferential agreements, as they provide quick and easy mutual arrangements instead of long-lasting multilateral negotiations. The Russian experience of accession to the WTO allows one to observe a high degree of availability of the Russian market. In conclusion, it is necessary to acknowledge that the WTO has a great influence on the development of international trade relations by directing vectors of economic policy in certain countries and all over the world. The development of the WTO since 1994 clearly demonstrates that the range of the discussed matters of world trade is widening.
