ABSTRACT

In the previous chapter, by focusing on the agential aspects of newly opened spaces of global resistance and by giving a secondary position to the conditioning structures, I explained the development of accommodative consciousness in the GJM. In this chapter, I focus on broader structural changes (at a global level) and their conditioning influence while giving the agential aspect of the movement a secondary position as mediating experiential mechanisms.1 Therefore, this chapter is based on the “structure-cognition” (or the counterhegemonic) dimension of the SDK’s model.
