ABSTRACT
This chapter examines how practice theory facilitates an understanding of the interconnections between translation practice and other practices. It first provides illustration of those interconnections in relation to commercial translation and the operations of LSPs by focusing on revising and reviewing, translation project management and vendor management. It also considers relations between translation practice and the practices of publishing and education. Finally, it examines how practitioners can constitute the crossing point for translation and related practices.
