With today’s widespread use of computers, the safety of your personal information should be of great concern to you. When was the last time you ordered something online and provided your credit card information? How many times a week do you enter your password and log in to your e-mail account? Each time you access the Internet, you put your computer at risk of viruses, and each time you exchange information via the Internet, you are potentially compromising your privacy. In some cases, just keeping your computer turned on while it is connected to the Internet can threaten your privacy and security.
