ABSTRACT
Matter is one of the fundamental concepts in science in general, and is the main object of the study of chemistry in particular. Everyday life provides children with countless opportunities for interacting with a variety of materials, and observing their properties and the changes they undergo. Thus, every child presumably develops some intuitive ideas about matter.
