ABSTRACT
This chapter analyzes the data is to make meaning of one's results, both descriptively and interpretively. Qualitative data analysis is usually associated with exploratory studies and consists of analyzing the written word. Ethnography, ethno methodology, content analysis, narrative analysis, conversation analysis, grounded theory analysis, case-oriented analysis are references to approach to analysis that seek out and seek to understand text or language. The most generic reference to these types of analysis is content analysis. Qualitative analysis is to expect a lot of work during and after implementation. Quantitative data analysis is usually associated with large-scale descriptive, experimental, or correlational studies and consists of understanding numbers that describe findings or those that tells about the capacity to generalize. Quantitative analysis is to spend a lot of time in designing or choosing an appropriate standardized instrument, which means front-heavy labour. Both qualitative and quantitative data have value in social work research.
