ABSTRACT
Antemortem traumatic injuries are those produced before death. The anthropological analysis of skeletal trauma has a major benefit for forensic anthropology since bones retain a record of traumatic events (Passalacqua & Rainwater 2015) that can allow positive identification and contribute to the determination of cause of death.
