ABSTRACT
In the last chapter we argued that Post Keynesianism exhibits a coherent methodological vision, which can be summarised as a commitment to a nonergodic, open-systems mode of theorising that enables economists to take uncertainty seriously. That is to say, Post Keynesians adopt a similar non-deterministic view of social process that is largely congruent with the Critical Realist distinction between closed-and open-system theorising.
