ABSTRACT
The contents of this chapter are solely a consideration of dermal absorption of
fragrance materials. It has been assumed that readers of this chapter will be well
aware of the basics of skin permeation that are dealt with more than adequately
elsewhere in this volume. Literature coverage has been focused on the scientific
studies that are particularly relevant to consumer exposure to fragrance materials
under in-use conditions.
