ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the advancement of nanobiotechnology for the application of virus detection. It explores the main priority area of health safety by the detection of virus methodologies and its recent progress for the transition to a green society and also discusses several significant ways to the techniques for analyzing different virus samples. Biosensors are portable devices which are used to detect the presence or concentration of any biological analyses such as a biomolecule, a biological structure, different pathogens even virus particles in a rapid process. Dengue virus has four serotypes, and researches have made a few attempts to identify them with high sensitivity. The growing interest in electrochemical methods for virus detection arises from their ability of measurement in high sensitivity with low cost and their excellent applicability with microfabrication. Anomaterials with their superior properties in combination with optical and electrochemical methods have discussed with designing of the new and improved sensors for low level virus detection.
