ABSTRACT

In parallel to conventional medical therapeutics, Tissue Engineering (TE) has immerged as a therapy to cope up with certain drawbacks of modern medical facilities. In this connection, fabrication of biocompatible matrix for TE applications draws certain interests to the researchers working in these areas. In this work a 2D biocompatible matrix is prepared in addition of Silver Nanoparticles (AgNPs) and Hydroxyapatite (HAp) for TE applications. The developed matrix can be successfully used for in-vivo applications because of its strong antifungal and cell-supportive properties.
